Gabby Salazar is a creative mind with an activist soul. She is a strong Latina who loves to express her talents to empower others and strives to leave a positive impact in her community.
Gabby is an actress with Grupo de Teatro Índigo as well as their Community Outreach Coordinator. She is also one of the hosts and creators of the radio show Tercera Llamada on GQ Radio, where she uses the platform to promote art, culture and mental health. She is an active Mental Health advocate that has won a grant from the City of Houston’s Health Department to co-create the campaign It’s Okay to Not Be Okay looking to raise mental health awareness and to connect the community to the resources available.
With an extensive background in real estate and construction, Gabby is working towards a Construction Management degree at the University of Houston. However, she uses Express the Gabbiness to free her mind, heart and soul through writing works about art, culture, mental health, day to day life and more.
Gabby is a charismatic, self-driven and passionate individual who adds value to any project that she is in. Her love for the arts and social action inspire her to think outside the box and continuously find ways to serve the community.
